International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board Water Levels Committee to Host Virtual Public Information Session
The International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board (IRLWWB) Water Levels Committee (Committee) will host a virtual information session on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. CT. The Committee ensures that International Joint Commission Orders for the operation of the dams on the Rainy River and outlets of Namakan Lake are followed.
The information session will include an overview of the current watershed conditions and seasonal weather forecasts in support of the management of the lake levels within their rule curves. There will also be an opportunity for participants to ask questions and share their observations on spring conditions in the watershed.
