A River Film - Documentary Film
This award-winning documentary showcases the Okanagan/Okanogan rivershed, a transboundary waterway that straddles the Canada-U.S. border. Breathtaking film footage provides a spectacular look at the Okanagan River and Osoyoos Lake. We visit the sites and meet the people. "A River Film" looks at the complex relationships between people, fish, upland species, and the wider Columbia Basin – a watershed regulated by the International Joint Commission, a bi-national organization established to protect the interests of all for a clean, sustainable water supply.
The film was developed in partnership with the Okanagan Basin Water Board and its Okanagan WaterWise outreach and education program, the International Joint Commission, and the Washington State Department of Ecology.
